The department’s bicycle patrol unit is deployed during summer, concentrating on traffic enforcement and community policing. Members of the Cohasset Police Bike Unit are also active members of the Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council (MetroLEC) Tactical Bike Unit and deploy to major events throughout the region all year. Our bike officers have participated in Boston’s First Night, July 4th, and rolling “Duck Boat” parades for championship-winning Boston sports teams.
