Two people seriously injured after motorcycle hits pole near intersection of Border St. and Otis Ave.
COHASSET – The Cohasset Police and Fire Departments responded to an early morning motorcycle crash involving two people, near the intersection of Border Street and Otis Avenue at approximately 2:30 a.m. Saturday morning, May 13, 2023.
Preliminary investigation revealed that two people, a male and a female were on the motorcycle when it struck a nearby pole. The operator of the motorcycle, a 23-year-old male, suffered life threatening injuries. The passenger, a 26-year-old female, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The two individuals were taken by ambulances to South Shore Hospital by the Cohasset and Scituate Fire Departments. Police determined the operator of the motorcycle was not wearing a helmet. Cohasset Police were assisted at the scene by Scituate Police and the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section.
No further information will be released at this time.
