Detective Daniel Williams, Esq.

The Police Prosecutor is a Cohasset Police Officer appointed by the Police Chief, who is responsible for department prosecution activities at the District Court level. In this liaison capacity, the Police Prosecutor coordinates the scheduling of cases and witnesses, represents the Department at Magistrate’s hearings, and advises and assists the District Attorney’s office during trials. In addition, he/she is responsible for the security and control of all criminal case files relating to his job duties. The position of Police Prosecutor is under the direct supervision and control of the Criminal Investigation Division Commander and the Chief of Police.  Cohasset is located in Norfolk County and cases are adjudicated in both Quincy District Court and Norfolk Superior Court in Dedham, MA.
